Nyack Creative Reuse is a community initiative celebrating creativity, sustainability, and the magic of making. Our goal is to keep useful materials out of the landfill and put them back into creative hands, bringing neighbors together through art, upcycling, and shared inspiration.
We’re starting with pop-up art workshops at the Nyack Farmers Market, where local artists will help you transform everyday cast-offs and reclaimed materials into one-of-a-kind art, handmade gifts, and fun creative projects. Whether you’re an experienced maker or simply curious to try something new, there’s a place for you here!
Join Us for Our First Pop-Up!
Thursday, October 29, 2026 | 8 AM–2 PM
Nyack Farmers Market
Main Street Municipal Parking Lot
119 Main Street, Nyack, NY
Stop by, meet local creatives, explore the possibilities of upcycling, and discover how much fun it can be to make something new from something old.
Have Materials to Share?
We’re also looking for donations of gently used, clean materials that can find a new life in an art project, including:
Fabric and textiles
Paper and cardboard
Yarn
Glass, metal, wood, and ceramics
Craft supplies and art materials
Hardware, buttons, beads, and other useful odds and ends
Before tossing those leftover supplies, give them another chance to inspire something wonderful!
A Little Creativity Can Go a Long Way
This is just the beginning. We hope to grow Nyack Creative Reuse into a community resource that makes creative materials more accessible, encourages resourcefulness, and creates opportunities for people to learn, make, and connect.
Come create with us, share what you can, and help keep materials in the creative loop!
Reimagine. Reuse. Make.
